Since starting his career, Dhafer has had marked success as an actor in Britain and in the Middle East. His work in film includes ‘Sex and the City 2’, ‘Centurion’ , the Bafta award winning feature ‘The Mark of Cain’ and      ‘The Stone Merchant’ where he played opposite Harvey Keitel.

Dhafer‘s television work in the UK is very recognizable, having appeared in numerous high profile British dramas including ‘Spooks’(MI5), ‘Strike Back’, ‘Wallander’, ‘The Wistleblowers’, ‘Wire in the Blood’ and the popular football drama ‘Dream Team’. He has recently completed filming his leading role in ‘The Black Forest’ for the Syfy Channel USA.

Dhafer presented one of the biggest talent shows in the Middle East - ‘Prince of Poets’ - with 20 million viewers per show.  He also hosted the 22nd and the 23rd editions of ‘The Carthage Film Festival’.

Other Middle Eastern roles include Ziad El Khalil in the TV series ‘Dhakerat El Jassad’ for Abu Dhabi TV, Adam in the feature film ‘Akhir Decembre’ and Ali in ‘Dawaha’. Dhafer is also well known in North Africa for his role of Dali in the TV series ‘Maktoub’ .

Dhafer is currently  filming his role in the new TV series ‘Nemesis’, produced by BBC and HBO.

He speaks fluent English, Arabic, French and Italian.

He currently resides in London.
